GABF Media Luncheon and Briefing

The Media Luncheon has currently reached capacity. Those who wish to be added to the waiting list should email . The option to attend is no longer available on the online registration form.

Plan to arrive with an appetite for world class beer, elegant food and sound story ideas. This will be a working lunch so enter on time at 12 pm and plan to stay through 2 pm where you will join the Brewers Association, several craft beer innovators and your fellow journalists for a strategic beer and food pairing luncheon and media briefing. In the two hour time frame we will cover many topics including: The business of craft beer in America today, key trends in the segment, how to navigate the Great American Beer Festival, discussion of beer styles and how they harmonize with and complement or contrast food.

This event is key to your coverage of the festival. We thank you, and the 85 other media representatives, in advance for attending. This event is for credentialed media only.

Official Media Hotel

The Curtic logoThe Curtis is the official Media Hotel for the Great American Beer Festival. A rate of $89 a night will be offered to registered media. The promo code for the discounted rate will be included in your media approval email. To learn more, see The Curtis brochure (PDF file, ~3.33 MB).

Picking up Your Badge

Press passes/badges will not be mailed, but may be picked up at the Press Check-in Booth at the Colorado Convention Center. These credentials will be available at the Media Registration area located inside the 14th and Champa Street entrance on the second floor beginning Wednesday, September 23, at 12:00 pm and should be worn at all times during the event. You must present identification to pick up your credentials and to enter the festival.

Media Access

GABF credentialed media will be allowed access to the festival hall 15 minutes before the start of each session.

GABF Media Center

The Media Center is located on the lower level of the Convention Center, Room 301, where credentialed media can work, share free internet access, and store equipment. All credentialed media can use this room.

Note: No overnight storage of equipment will be allowed.
